About the Research Centre for Environmental Engineering
The Research Centre for Environmental Engineering (IngMed) is a multidisciplinary academic unit within the Faculty of Materials and Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Our mission is to advance scientific research and technological innovation in the field of environmental protection, sustainability, and circular economy.
With a strong team of professors, researchers, and engineers, IngMed focuses on developing solutions for real-world environmental challenges, ranging from clean technologies and waste recovery, to soil decontamination, new sustainable materials, and water treatment systems.
Established as a hub for applied research, the center collaborates with national and international partners from academia, industry, and the public sector. Through research, consulting, and training activities, we aim to support the transition towards a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient environment.
